The Full-Bore Blast Foxtail Mop Cleaner/Applicator is a revolutionary reusable cleaning component that is made to replace traditional cotton mops and patches used to clean firearms. An integral component in our Full-Bore Blast Complete Shotgun Cleaning Kit, our foxtails are used with Full-Bore Blast Brushes and Full-Bore Blast Dual Open-Slotted Tip-End Jags to provide the best bore cleaner and lubrication applicator on the market.
Our fully washable, reusable, and multi-purpose foxtail attachment removes debris and applies solvents, oils, and lubricants. It can be used to wipe clean bores after using liquid or foam cleaning solutions, or used to wipe, clean, and oil the exterior and other parts of your shotgun. It is made of high-quality expandable polyethylene and terry microfiber material. Designed to conform to the inside diameter of a gun barrel bore during the cleaning process when pulled through the barrel, the foxtail mop contracts and expands, providing 360-degrees of cleaning, lubricating, and preserving.
We hand-picked this one-of-a-kind microsuede material for its exceptional qualities, like strength, durability, and its overall cleaning properties. Along with ease of care, it is two times more absorbent than cotton, is fast drying, and is wonderful at attracting and holding onto fouling, dirt, debris, spent powder, casing, and plastic residue. Other distinctive properties include resistance to tearing and pilling, with less annoying lint particles left in the gun than cotton or synthetic mops and patches. It is exceptionally soft and does not scratch surfaces. You can even use it to oil wood stocks.
The foxtail cleaner, applicator, and lubricator can be machine-washed multiple times. After it becomes soiled, simply machine wash it with detergent and tumble dry on a low setting.
